Municipality of Machta Hassan is located in the Kaza of Aakkar one of Mohafazah of Aakkar kazas (disticts). Mohafazah of Aakkar is one of the eight mohafazats (governorates) of Lebanon. It's 150 kilometers (93.21 mi) away from Beyrouth (Beirut) the capital of Lebanon. It's elevations is of 450 meters (1) (1476.45 ft - 492.12 yd) above sea level. Machta Hassan surface stretches for 110 hectares (1.1 km² - 0.4246 mi²) .
